Hey there, well it wasnt an earthing problem in the end, im surprised how simple it was to get to the bulbs.. one of them was loose, tightened it up and it was sorted...

Well, I recently took my car for its MOT.. it failed the first time because of a faulty coil spring *whatever that is* and partially because of a bad earthing problem on the tail-lights.

You know how I can actually get to the LED's?
I can buy the LED's quite cheap.. or get some from college.. solder and iron I allready have. It's just I don't know how to get to the back of the speedo/dash.

I know acouple of people who have done this, though they have both found it hard to make the baffle board fit properly. In the end it looked ok. I'll get some pics. BTW, both not in clios

Any chance since were on the same thing here, someone could tell me if there is a grommit on a Renault Clio Grande Y/01...? Cos for about a year now I have been drilling holes into the engine bay from the passengers footwell due to not being able to find one.
Hmm, talk about similar tastes, just put a pair of blue cold cathode tubes in myself. Stuck 2 switches in, 1 linked to sidelights and one inside ash tray (bit like the guy above).
