So wrapped that the wee beasty had it in it. Espesialy with almost totaly stock cup suspension (has a rear sway bar, v.nice). I love me semi slicks!

Looks to be about 7 seconds 0-100kph which is about right for a stock output 182. You might get it a bit quicker with a smoother launch.

Technicaly yeah, it wont create anymore power. But it will allow a bit more power to get from the engine past the flywheel and onto the next component and thus giving you more power at the wheels.

I think I worked out that for a 182 (1090kg's) you gain the equivelant of 1bhp every 6kg's you reduce the cars weight by. By removing my rear interior I've saved 27kg's so thats 4.5bhp for free. And with the new 15" TeamDynamics ProRace1's I'll be saving another ~14kg. Just wish we were...

Well it has to lower transmission loss. So while your not actualy making anymore power you are able to get more of the engines power down to the wheels.

What did the car feel like with a snapped wheel bolt? Perticularly under braking? I ask because I may have done the same thing at my last track day.

It wouldnt be corrosion because the vibration only started happening after a few laps on a track day. And I didnt use the handbrake at the track so I cant see how they would have warped. Surely Brembo Max HC's wont warp unless under extreem heat for a long period?

Ok, finaly got around to checking my shims and found there are none installed. Is this something I should get put back on or are they supposed to be removed?

Well, my pads or disk are still vibating under brakes. It didnt go away :( Now about these shims you're talking about Fred, are they the black metal piece that come stuck to the back of the pad material? Do they need to be pryed off?

Try reseting the ecu.

I think so but not totaly sure.

Bump. So are these the sort of gains that should be expected? Should there have been a bigger boost in torque since its a 182? What do you guys think?
