Whats the fuel pump setup on the Clio? Is it a "push" or "pull" system? If its designed to pull the fuel then you wont get any fuel if you've disconnected the rail (will you?)
Try and borrow a fault code reader, else a garage/dealer will charge you an hours labour just to plug in.

Hi Guys
I've done a good search already, but I can't find any solutions.
Whenever I reverse slowly I get a constant creaking sound from the front end while I'm moving, and then when I stop the noise stops. As I drive forward at low speed turning I get the creaking too. This happens every...
had a few mods and got in RR'd today and figures came is very low, just wondered if anyone else had the same.
I'll say more when I've done some investigating ;)

It's in an enclosed space that is filling with cool air from around the headlamp and from the cold air feed, the heatshield is trying to keep the hot air away from that area
Been playing around, settled on this idea.
No need to reposition battery which is nice.
Still working on prototype heatshields but getting close to a finished one now.
Also working on cold air feeds, currently have an 80mm feed from fog light to behind headlamp.
Any input CONSTRUCTIVE...
The original question was concering water in the engine.
If it rains there is no issue with the CAf in the grill / fog light.
Also, you would have to go through a VERY deep puddle for the water to travel up the CAF, through the air box and into the engine!
yeh, Silicon or firegum type stuff on the meeting faces will be fine, didn't even put the gasket on one end as it was mangled and I didn't have a new one.
