Sidelights inop when used on their own 2004 182
Have an odd fault where the sidelights wont work when you move the stalk switch to its first position, however they do come on when the auto lights kick in and/or you move the switch to its second position.
Also the function for turning the auto...
+1
Remember when some bint said the same thing to me when she crashed into the back of my 306 in stationary traffic, totally forgetting the fact she had been following me for the past 5 or 6 miles going up to a ton at times, she had no braking problems then lol.
Did anything happen with this? I remember getting an email a while ago but didn't hear if Renault actually said anything in response.
Not expecting anything to ever get done, just wondered if they bothered to respond
I'm no mechanic but maybe whoever did the job for you overtightened the nut thus drastically shortening the lifespan of the bearing, so it overheated and seized.
I wouldn't take it back there again when you sort it out
But I spot you almost everyday Squibbs :P
I also may have spotted Melissa last night turning onto Moor lane just after 6? cant be that many RB 182's in Lincoln.
Are these a problem generally?
Have been getting quotes for the dreaded cambelt/aux belt change and on other cars I have owned in the past I have always done the water pump at that same time due to the fact you remove the same bits to do both jobs so to save money in the long run I get the pump...
I really hate to sound harsh so please don't take it personal but if someone did that in front of me there is no way I would risk undertaking him, yes he should have indicated and made his intentions clear but the fact he did not should have been a clue for you to give him a wide berth until you...
So have I got this right? He pulled out to the right to swing (left, looking at the way his wheels are turned) into his drive with no indicators on and you undertook him and he turned into you as you were doing this?
Is it worth upgrading to braided ones when I am only going to be driving on the road?
Fitted a new tyre at the weekend and noticed my brake discs are fucked on the inside and the pads have not worn very well so going to replace them with some Brembo discs, and maybe genuine pads, not decided if...
Is this in the dry or wet?
I have only had my abs kick in a few times in two years, mostly in snow so I don't really count them and once in the wet when slamming them on at about 65-70mph due to some bell end swapping lanes without looking.
I have done some heavy braking from fairly high speeds...
All you need is a jug of tepid (not hot!) water and jobs a good un, a car will warm up quicker when driven instead of leaving it to idle and wasting fuel.
I have to agree, this is the first black car I have owned and you really have to keep on top of things to keep it looking its best, and the effects don't last as long especially if the weathers poor :(
Looks stunning once its done though but I don't think I'll get another unless its matt black lol
Off out later, there is a nice straight flat bit of road that I will be going on. I'll try it in my standard 182ff and take a vid.
I can imagine it may take a while as you are starting out with naff all revs.
I work in the motor trade and there is no way I would work as a service advisor.
They are generally on s**t money and take abuse from ignorant customers all day who are pissed off that their car has broken and will be costing them money, don't get me wrong not all customers are like that but the...
I really should pay more attention to this forum, I only live about a minute or two away from that vee replica, would be good to meet up with a few other owners
Yup scared my mum to death when she asked for a ride in my new car by flinging it round the roundabout and then ragging it off the curved exit onto the local bypass. She was not a happy bunny, she still braces herself if I ever give her a lift somewhere just incase im going to floor it or...
