SPOILER ALERT:
If you are planning on playing the game then I'd avoid watching the vids, especially the Ashtray Maze. (y)
Firstly, it's not the greatest of vids but here's the last item I needed to 100% complete - which involved completing one of the Secret Achievements. It's a bit boring to be...
It is indeed! 🤣
It's third-person, mate. If playing on the PC you can mod the game with appropriate tools (and hack in a first-person mode) but it's not straightforward and the game was designed to be played in the third-person.
I'm just about to complete my 3rd or 4th play-through and on the last achievement, which I will try and capture on video if I remember! Hopefully, I'll have a crack at it later. Control 2, where are you...? (It could be quite a long wait sadly!)
It can vary considerably depending on budget. The Samsung Odyssey G9 is great with its 5120x1440p resolution at 240Hz (49 inch) but you'll need a top end GPU to drive it if you value high-fidelity graphics in your sims.
True story, a fellow contractor I worked with was the target of a bit of a hate campaign from some folks he was tasked to work with, hence decided to terminate his contract early. On his last day he had agreed to send a handover document around to the remaining dev team detailing his couple...
I'm currently developing a new super-secret application that I'm not allowed to talk about. It will hopefully be put into operation in the coming weeks. It's well clever and I've included the all-important light and dark modes. Excuse the limited screenshots but I can't give too much away for...
After several play throughs... my advice... don't hoard. Unnecessary and achieves nothing! Pick up as much ammo as you want though, even if it doesn't fit your weapon load out. It doesn't add to you carry total.
I have played through it a few times now and 100% completed it, including the DLC. I really enjoyed the backstory and, I'll be honest, just lobbing s**t around. It looks great and plays great after a short time of familiarising with the control scheme.
I won't spoil the game but, yeah, there...
@mace¬ ,
I have a considerably better and beefier PSU (Corsair Plus AXi 860 Platinum, fully modular) that I have sat collecting dust on my shelf. Well, it's in immaculate condition in its original packaging so not collecting dust as such... I'd be willing to do you a good deal on that if you...
You can put together some absolutely crazy layouts with a bit of skill and careful planning (and luck) trial and error. 🤣
Simple on the surface, but many layers to it the more you play.
I'm either a software developer (code monkey) or software engineer depending on who the employer/client is and how formal the engagement is! 🤣
I have been writing software for about 40 years now (I started when I was around 7 or 8 years old) and that's pretty much been my working and hobbyist...
I've started playing Brotato (through Game Pass on PC/Xbox Series X) and I'm hooked. It is currently my go-to for a "quick pick up and play".
Surprisingly simple, and strangely addictive. And the soundtrack is cool. Loving it!
Just a heads-up... the recent Starfield update has fixed quite a few issues/bugs and the visuals have had an overhaul (especially the lighting). I swear it also loads a little quicker and feels a bit snappier to play.
It's a bit of a marmite game I think (the games-playing community seems...
