I went through some old receipts for the car and came across an old reg transfer certificate for a private plat. The reg that was on the car was L88 DML and it's now registered to a Honda Civic Type R. I got the feeling like I've seen the plate before but can't seem to find any info.
Part number for the new mount please. When I change my exhaust I'll be changing the rear to a Prima Racing one so may aswel get a better middle mount too.
My advise would be do your research on the white ones before buying. I was offered a white 182 once that was actually a 172 that had been wrote off then put back together. It looked ok but after doing some research on the web I found out there was loads dodgy about it.
It's always parked on the road between the Punch Bowle pub and the white flats. I've walked past it a few time and noticed it has CS stickers on it. :approve:
The one on my is a bit iffy at the moment. You have to pull the handle in the car then pull the bonnet up to open it, it doesn't 'pop up' at it should.
I may take it in to Reno and see if they're still fixing them free of charge from when they recalled them all.
I'm sure I seen somewhere that they're copies of the old Peco (or something) exhausts?
If I can't pickup a decent second hand system for cheep I'll get one of these and see how it goes.
When I got my new 172 it came with a Janspeed cat-back system fitted but the tailpipe looks ridiculous (like a canon stuck on the back). So as I'm going over the car tidying it up I really want to change the tailpipe to something like the KTR recessed with 182 surround. I had the KTR system on...
Bumping this old thread instead of making a new one to see if there's any more comments on the subject.

My 172 has the Skoda one on at the moment but I'll be changing it to a proper Cup one soon as they look the best. I had a carbon one on my old flamer but it just makes you want more carbon and then it gets expensive. :)
I've not long swapped my Astra for another 172 and when washing it I noticed it has the forum URL on the plates. I've asked the last owner and he said he is not a member on here but at some point it must of been a members car.
The reg is RF02 BKL if anyone knows the car and can help me out...
Black wheels and had the Renault F1 team stickers on the bonnet.
It also had something on the skirt like the Trophy does but couldn't see what it said.
