Hi m8 was me. Made me giggle that little run. Had to slow down at first cos i was catching ya but tell ya what, you have some balls i chickened out as i went in to fifth. As for the noise just got a ITG panel filter and Powerflow not so stealth system.
Your motor looked neat how long ya had it ?

First wheel went at about 2002 172 60k melted both sides , thumb grips split.
Good quality second hand one 1.5 yrs on and it is melting again

The renault sport wheels do exactly the same. Cost of a new wheel from renault in the region of £300. KTEC do a service invoving carbon fibre thunmb grips and real leather recover for about 200 quid i think.
Just had a fault with mine . Was blowing hot air constantly with ac on and off and didnt matter what temp you set it too. Took the sensor out ( lives in the interior light) gave it a good dust out and hey preto it works perfect. Give that a try only took 5 mins
The car is a 2002 172 with 89K on it. Price is not to bad i guess but not needed right now. Didnt have the Aux done when i had the cam belt done either. Furnace let me know how ya do
Over night my 2002 172 has developed a whining noise. At Idle in neutral the whine is quiet , rev the engine and noise gets louder. Checked PAS fluid lvl thats ok but still thinking PAS pump, Aux pulleys or alternator anyone else got any ideas? May have to go to Birchdown!!
Possibly i live in Nantwich but work near wolves, you got a sticker in the back of yours? I have seen another monaco around here but was a bird driving it and there is now way im letting my girlfriend drive mine
To be honest if you had not waved i would not of mention'd it. My mate asked who it was i said i dont know and explained the whole car club thing . He is an old fart and drives an A6 nuff said.
As for my monaco she is looking tired now and needs a wash bloody flies
