If you push the start button without the clutch or break it is the same as turning the key 1 click on a normal car. It wont turn on the ignition, just accessories like radio etc. To manually turn the ignition on you gotta put the card in and hold down the button.

i dont need it to connect to the stereo. I just want my iphone on display neatly to charge and to be able to see the satnav on it. would hide the cables etc... I might just settle for the tomtom holder for it. Seems the best looking.

Check the mini iso on the back of the HU. If that's ok then check the long red plug behind the clock. Problem with that is you gotta remove the dash. This has gotta be done any way for most stalk adapters.

I know I'm coming into this a bit late but oh well. I emailed ktec to see if they were developing a remap and they said they were on there Twingo GT which has the same engine. They didn't give details but said they hope to have it available in January.

I was told by the dealer near me that when the dealership takes delivery of the car they are supplied with some extra clip or mount that they should fit. Duno how true this is tho. :S
