While fitting my airbox i spyed an un-used sensor that didn't seem right. Im having troubles with my reverse light not working and after asking on here ive been adviced it could be the reverse switch. Is this it thats un plugged with no plug insight? Thanks

The reverse lights on my 182 haven't worked since i got the car, ive tryed new bulbs but this didn't solve the problem. Is there any common faults with these or does anyone have any idea's what could be the cause?
