This is so true. We still use our Samsung set purchased in 2012. Admittedly the smart functions have limitations but it’s attached to an Apple TV so use that. It also looks as good today as anything new on the market!
I'm waiting for my dual physical sim 11 Pro Max to arrive from Hong Kong, finally I can combine wrk/personal on a single handset with a cracking camera. I used to have One Plus for the dual sim and with Three and Vodafone not supporting E-Sim this was perfect config for me......
Similar experience. I have stuck with it as its my work phone that doesn't get used as much but the only real issue is some of the apps not working as they should, which I guess is understandable given its beta.
I have a pair of the Jabra 65T's. They are a cracking set of headphones, they hold a good charge, are very comfortable and sound good. I paid about £165 for them and would recommend at that price.
I purchased the Yale Wireless system. As per other comments the installation is a breeze, the siren is mega loud and it seems very reliable. I got the one that can be controlled with the app so you can arm/disarm from your phone. I also like the fact I have been able to fit sensors to the...
I have been an Android user for ages, having gone through the 1 plus 1 right up to the 5T. They were all good handsets but the Pixel 2 (XL) is excellent. The Android experience is so clean you would never go near anything Samsung or Sony fettled, and the camera is amazing, it really is...
Go for a Dell Optiplex 3040 or 3050 micro form factor. They do an optional mounting bracket that allows you to fit it to the VESA mount on the back of a monitor.... Some monitors are not compatible but I can confirm 24" Benq ones are...
If you want simple go for Nest. Its not cheap, but good quality kit, and has the massive bonus of uploading direct to cloud so if you were burgled the video has already left the premises. The app gives movement notifications and the new camera even has facial recognition.....
I tried Hikvision recording to a local source, and I just found it was very admin intensive. I have now opted for a Nest indoor & outdoor camera. Its not the cheapest option, but it just works. I also do not need to worry about someone either stealing the PVR or cutting connection to the...
The fingerprint/home button is not a hardware failure, its software. It doesnt work everytime but if you go into the software section and clear the cache on fingerprint, then hold the power till it force powers of it usually fixes it. Mine has broken 3 times, and Ive eventually managed to get...
TBH all thats good for is pausing live TV. Any USB HD will work, but you can only record the channel your watching, and Im pretty sure it doesnt record if the TV is turned off either. Still worth doing for the pausing function though....
No the first revisions of the playbook OS had serious limitations for picking up email etc (needed to tether a blackberry). That has since been resolved, and if you want a device for video playback, email and internet you wont get anything better for the money. Despite what certain people who...
I beg to differ....at its original £599 I agree, it would not have had a leg to stand on against the Ipad, however at £129 for a device that can playback HD video, record HD video, pick up email and browse the web on with a very well put together OS? Oh and chuck in 64GB of onboard storage.
The...
If you want cheap the Playbook is pretty good. £119 for 64GB of storage and HD playback. Kindle and Kobo available on it and its a really solid unit. Web browsing is good too....
What are you looking for it realistically? Im looking for a family work horse to last a year or longer for camping etc, need the space as my Laguna is just too small now!
Can you use it as a full on document viewer, i.e office suite docs? The missus has just started a midwifery degree, and if I was able to upload all her course notes to it for viewing it would be good...
Scutch, tbh if I was you I would go for the cheaper version. Its not a retina display, and I think if they were in any way shabby copies then the guys feedback would be awful. I looked through a few, and all the LCD feedback seems fine....
