Hi, sadly over xmas i smashed up my black 02 clio 172 :( didnt fancy goin through insurance n loosing my no claims etc .. sooo i have bought a cheap, in need of TLC flame red 172 of the same year... I am going to take the engine/gearbox out of the black one as its only done 60,000 full renault...

can anyone tell me if phase 2 172s were registered on a 'y' plate? (2001)

to get a fully sequentual gearbox 4 1*2s ???

I just finished putting new discs and pads on my 172 and realised that my driverside driveshaft boot is split and chucking out grease... my driveshaft is NOT KNOCKING so ..... does this mean i need a new driveshaft or can i just change the boot and re-grease and it will be fine??? cheers

Thinkin about getting my 172 wheels re-furbed in bronze, i no someone with bronze wheels on his white integra and it looks mental, but i cant decide - bronze on silver its a risky 1 - wat do you think? want to do somethink different I would be grateful if someone could photoshop it 4 me cheers

I want to make my 172 quicker in acceleration wats the best way to do this, it has an induction kit and k-tec cat back stainless system, dont have the money for turbo/supercharger, i was thinkin lighter flywheel??? or will this not make any real difference ???

Hi everyone im a new member and have a clio 172 and my speedo has a mind of its own it jumps to different speeds and gets stuck sometimes, it only does it from time to time and someone said to me iys becasue i have a dvd headunit ?? and it interfears anyone no if this is true
