Def use them if price is right... used to run a v8 rangerover on retreads absolutely no problem and that was some serious weight and power!

Suffering tyre wear on inside edge of both front tyres on my 172. My local garage reckons that front wheel drive cars with high bhp tend to do this, (he couldnt check tracking because its too low for his equipment) any comments?

Looking to change the alloys on my 02 172... currently got Renault sport 16" on but thinking of going to 17"..anyone had experience of 17" have to say the 45 profile on my 16" dont like speed humps guessing 17" with 40 profiles will be even worse...any comments please? Ta:cool:

My 172 has a rough idle. its been suggested I change the plugs, got advice on the sort of plugs I should get, then took the cover off the engine ....looks like a complete strip down to just change the plugs. Got a Haynes manual but doesnt cover the 2.0l engine. Any advice?
