Brand new car - 1500 miles in a weekend :o)

Well, the weekend before last, I added another car to my career. So far, it has been 106>Punto>VTS>Zetec S (Mk5)> Clio 197>Clio 182>ST 150. Out of all of them, my favourite by MILES was the 182, it really was amazing. However, I made the mistake of test driving a Clio 200T and one of these. The...

    Windows 10 Woes!

What a pile of poo Windows 10 is! Upgraded from 8.1 last week, and the thing wouldn't start at all, it would say "Diagnosing your PC" then come up saying "Unable to start your PC" bla bla bla. Clean installed it yesterday, now Banana (may as well be called that), the start button and no apps...

1.2 Dynamique metal coolant hose rusted

Asking on behalf of a friend. The coolant pipe that goes behind the aircon pump has rusted through. Been down Renault and can't find the part on their system so hoping someone will know. Anyone know if it has some obscure name or a part number?

    Planetary photography

Anyone had any success with taking pictures of the more visible planets? Just done one of Jupiter, I KNOW it's crap, but it was my first attempt. Io, Ganymede and Callisto are the three moons visible (I believe!) I don't have a clue how "stacking" works, or how to do it either lol! Anyone...

You don't have to have an SLR to take some awesome photos

I quite often look in the photography sections on this site and others. And often notice that people think that you have to have a DSLR to get decent photos. I've got a Canon DSLR and I do weddings and other bits. But when I go on holiday, lugging the camera bag up a mountain isn't always the...

Bit of sanding on the headlights, and MOT woes...

And they look almost new. Pleased with how they came out to be honest, never realised how simples it was to do it! Before: After: And some general shots showing no progress other than partial cleanliness: As for the MOT...well, it was hard work! And had to have 4 new tyres...

If you saw my thread with my Scotland pics in then you will be aware of my little trip to the North of Scotland. Left Inverness at 22:15 and got back here at 09:30. In the two weeks we were there, we covered three thousand, one hundred and sixty nine miles!!! Totally adore that 182...

Best way to wash this off?

Still probably got 1000 miles to do round here (Scotland, see my "Length of Britain" thread :p), but she needs a bloody good seeing to, this is how caked the back is (and the whole car) at the moment: Probably best to use the jetwash first no? (then attack with steel wool; aka sponge...

Drove nearly the length of Britain last night....

Left my place at 2am with the wife. The long drive from Haywards Heath to Inverness took nearly 12 hours (first time i've done it in the 182 - the 197 came up here three times in all), and here are a couple of pics of the awesome parts: Loads more driving to be done over the next...
