Unless someone can tell me otherwise I see no reason why the RS leather/alcantara seats wouldn't just bolt straight in. You could put on a set of 172 wheels they aren't that expensive to buy. The trouble with the bumper is that it's obvious in the difference between a non RS Clio.
If it helps, nearly three months ago I bought a 2003 Iceberg Silver 172 for £2300 with 54K on the clock. I had to get the belts done mind and a couple of tyres.
I'd say (I might be wrong) you don't want to be paying more than £2700 for that.
I upgraded mine to 8gb RAM (from 2gb) and put a 250gb SSD in. I also upgraded to Mountain Lion. Absolutely flies now. We did have to buy cloning software which was about £30 but it did make the process completely painless.
My fiancee and lodger both have a Nexus 7. They love it and take it everywhere. It seems to be a pretty good device to be fair and it's good value too. I've got an iPad myself which I'm happy with.
I think you'll have to wait a very long time before you see any return even though it's a great car. You may see some increase but on balance it's not worth the wait.
There are very few cars that realise a higher value. I have an AE86 which is in excellent condition for it's age. I will be...
On a 2 grand car, it's not worth the money. Cheap coilovers are crap. I hear that stock dampers are not that expensive. Why not refresh the suspension? If your's is tired it will make the world of difference.
I've got an 03 172. I love it. But I'm not going to spend any unnecessary money on...
This place does the adaptors to make the steering controls work:

I got one off a friend who sold his 182. Despite emails to the company that make it, it doesn't appear to work! But, I probably need an additional adaptor.
Also with a Cat C, it's worth knowing how old the car was when it had the accident. If it was less than two years old, it was probably quite a lot of damage. Obviously when a car get's older it would be written off more easily. You take your chances I guess.
JP exhausts in Macclesfield. These guys will make an exhaust to your spec, the quality is excellent and you get a lifetime guarrantee. I wouldn't go anywhere else. http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/
I've also had them do repairs on various systems I've had. They have put in extra supports and the...
They do tend to be a little lumpy at idle, stock tbh, so I wouldn't necessarily think it's got high lift cams. It's a characteristic that is in the buying guides, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine is the same and is a bone stock 172.
I had both cambelt and auxillary belt kits done this week. That includes replacing the tensioner and idler pulleys as well, they come as a kit. Cost just under £500 all in.
Re: Our ring and spa report (3 TF days, 1 trackday at ring, 1 trackday at spa) Pics/V
Fantastic write up, takes me back to my time at Spa and the Ring, just love those two circuits. If there is a heaven it will consist of the Ring during the week and Spa at weekends!

Thanks for...
Had the cambelt and auxillary belts changed today, including pulleys and tensioners.
The belt had never been changed, was all original so, pretty glad I got it done. Considering it was supposed to be done four years ago, am glad I got it changed ASAP.
Had it done at Autoworkshop in Denton...
Hi! :)
Forgot to add, that we found that some of the washer hose, where it passes through a hole on the reservoir bottle for the feed for the washer jets, had nearly worn through where it had obviously rubbed over the years. So, we found a bit of vacuum piping off a spare 4AGE inlet manifold I...
Right, got the car down the workshop today, to have a look at the windscreen washers and headlamp washers as they don't work!
So had already seen how to get the bottle out, but what a pain. Still, it wasn't too bad, just seemed a lot to do, just to get to the bloody reservoir!
Windscreen...
I ran a 100hp from new for 2.5 years. Whilst it's got a good spec and it might feel like a lot of fun. The chassis has severe limitations when you really push it. It is not a car you can steer on the throttle. All said and done it's quite a fun car that is pretty cheap to buy and if you are...
Oops! Almost forgot I had brand new tyres on and hoofed a roundabout off the M6 to A54. Was just stonking how much speed I could carry. Haven't really got the rear end properly mobile yet, but it won't be long! :)
LOL! /I'll never live that down!
@Coops, cheers, I do love the AE86 and arguably there is no better car in the world at drifting wet roundabouts and I'll always have fond memories of it. I'm actually in no rush to sell (there's the small matter of a putting the engine back together yet!) it's...
