Thinking of getting a remap and was trying to find somewhere local to Cambridge. Had a quick google and TorquingBHP came up. Website seems to suggest they know what they're doing, but I couldn't really find any independent reviews. Anyone on here know/tried them or able to recommend someone...

Well I had my pants pulled down. £140 labour + £140 for the Eibachs. Had no choice really, needed the car back on the road asap. Kept the old springs and hope to sell them on and recoup some of the damage; any idea how much they are worth? They are oem renault ones (both rears and single front)

I asked my mechanic at the time and he roughly quoted me 2 hours to change the one spring. Obviously thats a complete joke based on what you guys have just said. Out of interest whats the book time for it, 1 hour as well?

Sorry, my bad. No idea why I wrote coil over :o I will pick up the Eibach Pro's and hopefully get them fitted on Tuesday. Car's off the road until then. Any one know roughly how many hours it should take to change the springs?

I got mine from K-Tec. Have got some pics on my camera and will try and upload them at some point over the weekend.

So had the car in for MOT this morning and it failed. The front drivers side spring had sheered off. Reckoned it had happened a few weeks ago and that i was lucky it hadnt destroyed my tyre... Anyway, should I buy a buy a whole new set of springs, was looking at these, or should I just get a...

I got myself a Milltek about 6 months ago. Absolutely love it and at £400 fitted it was a bargain compared to the £1200 Wests Cambridge wanted. Meatier sound and not at all chavvy; the perfect balance IMO.

What is the TB and where is said guide? Mines in for an MOT on sat, so I might ask the mechanic to take a look and give things a clean if needed.

I'm having exact same issue. Every morning I try and start the car it will stutter and either stall or just about pull through. Tend you give it a bit of gas to get it going. Also feels quite 'lumpy' for first minute or so after starting....
