Looks great man, the only thing I noticed was many of your pics take a long time to load... My broadband is pretty good so maybe worth creating smaller size thumbnails to load automatically, linked to bigger versions once clicked on?? Just a thought! Otherwise looks really slick and professional...
A quick update - the boys at Birchdown fitted this yesterday, both said how impressed they were with the fit. Time will tell if it has worked, but what was a steady drip is now totally dry after Steve took it out for 10 miles and I brought it 2 hours back home. So far so good!
Just had exactly this with a set of 3 yr old T1R's - rears were humming like wheel bearings had gone, turned out to be the tyre surface deforming, almost like large blisters.
Glad you sorted it - I was thinking it was going to be rear disc time again!
These could look the danglies...

Hi all, just thought I'd share a link from Amazon for the Mapco seal kit, originally found on eBay (post #3 in this thread: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?749014-Gearbox-seal-kit&highlight=gear+seal+kit) but now unavailable. Found this and it seems to be the exact same kit as TND...
Just ordered the kit through amazon, seems cheaper than ordering from TND and no need for gcse french!

Quick update, I had the offending brake apart again at the weekend, greased up the piston which seems fine. Noticed one of the sliders has a hole in the rubber boot which lets air out when the slider is pushed in, then stops it springing back out like the other ones do - could something this...
I'll be having that fiver then! Cleaned it all up with a wire brush and kurusted when I changed the discs/pads, far as I can tell everything moves smoothly and evenly...
Sorry this is so lengthy, I'm getting cheesed off now. 172 Cup, n/s pads began wearing unevenly a while back and smelling really hot - so took the pads out and found the inner (piston side) pad had begun to crumble away to nearly nothing on half of the pad. Some phone calls and pondering later...
Birchdown just under an hour from Manchester going away from Leeds, so around the 2 hour mark I'd say..?
New Brembo HC's and ds2500's fitted with a good old clean and kurust of the front callipers and hubs, lumbar support fixed and a wee bit of underseal added. Well done me.
Totally agree. I wasn't disputing the number of non-sport owners, but as I said there was little evidence of them on his first thread. Good luck to the fella.
Looks like you're having fun with this one.
Just a thought - your first thread was abused predominantly by sport owners, now this being ClioSport.net, aren't you pitching this to the wrong audience? Surely a modified car forum or similar would have more time and affection for this? I think...
Hi folks, swapped the standard sidelight and dipped bulbs in my 53 172 Cup for some Ring Xenon Ultima and Philips Blue Vision from Ebay and can't believe the difference its made! Was pretty sceptical at first about how much better the lights could be without going the full nine yards and...
Plus 1 for investigating fuel system.. You could remove the pump and hook it up to a battery pack to test the motor. I know its a very basic check but you could check the filter isnt clogged too..
Sounds like heat shield to me, get under it and give the tin foil a wiggle*:)*mine used to make a horrible noise but I managed to bend it away where it was touching, problem solved
Thanks ^ :) Just a thought.. has anyone tried making a mock c/f splitter using some vinyl off the bay? Lets be honest nobody buys a c/f splitter because of the massive performance gains! I got some ages ago for a 106 and was amazed at how realistic it was, should be easy to fit to the fabia...
