I've accessed the front one easy enough, but had a look at the rear taken that off but they dont have a pretensioner in them and there not connected to anything electrical so i guess they just have pre-tensioners in the front?
Ok cheers dan, am i to unlug the airbag computer first replace the pre-tensioners send the computer off then plug it back in? Would the light then go off? I dont want the new ones to go off because of the airbag computer.
So to take the seat out you need to get under the car? What do i need to remove under the car? And what's the buckle?
Also are they expensive to buy? Cheers

When i bought my clio the airbag and serv light was on, so when i was at birchdown early on in year i got them to check it out and there computer said that the pre tensioners had gone off on rear passenger side and passenger front. The car hasnt been involved in an accident so no idea...
I'm going to a place in huddersfield on Saturday, my car is lowered on ktr coilovers and they said it wouldn't be a problem and will set it up to the manufacturer settings?

Just replaced the ball joint on LHS of car, took the old one off took it to local motor factors and we measured up the holes which was 10mm, so got one off them fitted it, it's alot better than it was but still some knocking on that side slightly.

Just changed my bottom ball joint on one side as it was knocking like mad and the rubber had split, put it all back on and my steering wheel is pissed to one side driving in a straight line, do i need to get the tracking down to line it up again? Cheers
I have no idea? Whilst it was up in air he pointed out oil from the cambelt side i didnt look properly but he said it was the cam shaft seal, there was no cover off though? So was he telling porkies?
Wohooo finally found out what the problem was!! Thought i'd have a look at the upper gearbox mount under the battery, the nuts that hold the mount down were loose!! I was shocked my gearbox hadn't dropped on the floor! Almost finger tight!! Took it for a drive and miles better! No knocking noise...
Got an issue with going down dips over bumps, i get a clunk noise on the LHS. And also using the biting point on a hill for instance i get creaky noise. Now i've replaced top mounts, and just replaced arb bushes and the dogbone bushes.
There's no play in the ball joints they seem fine, what...
Just having my arb bushes fitted and dogbone bushes fitted, and i've popped round the corner to see how there getting on. They have pointed out there's oil slightly leaking from the cam shaft seal, my cambelt was down by birchdown start of feb. Would they have noticed this? Also is it cambelt...
had a look underneith the car and they deffo don't have them pictures above on the ends, they only have the bushes that go around the bar and that's it. Yeah Darren reno at bury.
ive just ordered the uprated ones from ktec, cheaper to get it as a kit from them than numpties renailt, also gone for the uprated gearbox mount bushes as well :)
just spoke to them and they don't have a clue, just going to take them back and change them for the ktec ones. my local motor factors dont list them either.
just been having a tug on the bar, i can't move it with my hand but doesn't mean to say there fooked? i guess ill get it into a garage to change all 4 of them, might as well do all of them.
