Do you still have something supporting the engine whilst doing this?
If the bolts are just loosened will they provide support but let the engine find the sweet spot?
If have a jack with wood on top, would the engine idling wobble it off?!
Also read some people say do the same for the...
Thanks @Colin-S
I wonder if the list contains other incorrect torques?
Could a moderator update the incorrect value(s) in the lists earlier in this thread, in case someone follows this guide without reading all the other posts?
If anyone is on the turborenault forum, could they let them...
The Pagid handbrake cables from ECP were too long (handbrake barely held on an incline at full engagement)
Much better now with the cables that Ktec sell
Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd give some guidance, for novices like me, planning to do this.
Old wiring had a couple of bends with wire exposed plus corrosion, the old wiring was thinner in total diameter compared to the thicker shiny new version.
It's quite a tight space, so...
Doh! Started torquing them and didn't feel right, may have done a bit more than this. Best to leave slightly over-torqued or re-torque correctly d'you reckon?
What have others torqued theirs to? The sticky will need updating as others may also follow this guide.
Please could someone whose done it, confirm the two smaller nuts (13mm) on the upper gearbox mount are definitely 62Nm?
"Upper Gearbox Mount:
- Central nut: 62N·m
- Mount to Gearbox: 62N·m"

Thank you
Cage looks great!
Sorry about the windscreen, does it come all in one piece?
Is this one that doesn't require drilling? If so, do you have a link please?
Carparts4less you can either pick it up from Eurocarparts or get it delivered for free & can take the return item to ECP now, so with current 20% discount code BANK (always a code on, from 17-19% usually) and a lower advertised price, is £70 cheaper than choosing their sister company to give...
Good point, this thread
https://cliosport.net/threads/182-driveshaft-query.832267/
goes in to more detail and seems to agree (& also that the GKN one may be the non-cup version)
Good luck bud; let us know how you get on 👍🏻

K-tec have some genuine Renault available (incl 182 Cup N/S!) £178
I tried J&R once and it's a cheap part that cost me a lot in doing the job again to replace them within weeks!
GKN were available for one side and much better quality, think I put the original other one back on, this was a couple of years ago
May be Autodoc have some options, not sure what...
So don't buy these (like I did for £60!)

Thread revival! Rather than starting a new one
Has anyone fitted these front & rear?
Purple or black?
Is it a good compromise between oem rubber and solid top mounts?
Decent for a daily with a few track days?
I've reused the insert and small nut and top part from original dampers that has a recess for the small nut (keeping the new bearing and large rubber from the KYB kit) and no more noises!
The large spacer nut that came with the KYB kit is poorly designed and allows movement, causing...
Local garage fitted these (KYB top mounts kits incl spacer nuts) for me but there is a big gap between the strut tower & the top mount (about 1cm!) a d the driver's side has a knock/sometimes a creak over undulations (didn't have noises before these and new shocks & springs were fitted)
I'm...
