Actually it's a girl’s car!:rasp:
Well off old men who want to flash the cash certainly don’t do it with a Clio, they are hardly status symbols!!
Or maybe it’s your own insecurities, that you can’t do it as well as an experienced man, that are really bothering you?! ;)
No, No, No, No, No!!!
Between us, me and my sis have had a mk1 172, a mk2 172 (2 of them!), a 172 cup and my current 182.
All great cars, if I came across a mk1 172 in yellow, I'd seriously consider buying it.
Roof rack yes (I’ve seen one with surf boards on the roof!), niggles yes…but you soon forget them when you drive it!
Clarkson is paid to find pro’s and con’s and I think he gave a fair report on the 182, however I find the interior to be better than he gave it credit for, I think it’s a very...
1) Nothing has fallen off mine so far, you do get the odd rattle and vibration though.
2) About 32mpg a lot more if you do motorway driving.
3) Mines never broken down, although I’ve had a few niggles with shocks and warning lights (ended up needing a sensor replacing).
More here...
The price will drop no matter what it's a Renault!!
However the 172 & 182 were directly comparable so the release of the 182 had a bigger effect.
But as some people have said the 197 is a different car altogether, it has moved up a size, and if I was looking to replace the 182 it wouldn’t be...
I got rid of my 172 with mods (performance and handling, not cosmetic) for a 182 with cup packs….I wish I’d kept the 172, and to get them to do anything under warranty is like swimming through glue (I would imagine!), so that’s not really a good selling point!!
But if it’s just he looks and...
Is there a notice board where she can put a big poster up asking if anyone saw it?
At best some one will say yes, at worst the person who did it will feel guilty.
If your car is under 1 year old then it's warranty.
I had mine replaced on my 172, it cost about £40 and took them 20mins (I waited).
The same one broke again after a few months and they replaced it again free of charge.
This is the same dealers who asked me, just 3 weeks ago, if I would be part-exing the 182 for the 197, that guy wasn't there today, maybe they sacked him for trying to sell non-existent cars!!:clown:
It’s the traction control/service light on all the time, and sometimes I’ll be driving along and the traction control kicks in for no reason.
They’ve adjusted the brake pedal sensor twice, I thought it best to point out that it might be something else causing the problem, fingers crossed that...
No way will I buy another Renault from a main dealer, because I’m so tired of arguing with them over warranty issues, it’s a shame as the car’s great when not at the dealers (in again today for the 3rd time in 6 weeks for the same prob!) the final straw was when they called me ‘not loyal’ FFS...
I’ve just taken my 182 to the dealers and I asked them when they will have the 197 in, he told me that they haven’t had any brochures or advertising guff and that they didn’t even know if it will be available in the UK……..
Why do they need to take it home to test drive it? :S
Mines in for the 3rd time with the same problem, the traction control/service light, each time they do the same adjustment, each time it doesn’t work, even I can work out that there must be something else causing it!
You were behind me yesterday (3rd May).
I waved but didn't get your attention, although I'm sure you saw my black 182 'coz you kept up with me all the way to your turn off, which was quite a relief ‘coz I was then able to slow down and save some petrol!! ;)
