whats your reason for removing the ABS? its there as a safety feature. Cant see why you would want to take it out of that model of car as the car wouldn't be useful on a track.

just used it there i looked at it and didn't think the bolt would be big enough so discarded that till i came on here and seen it had been used worked a treat :D just leave the bolt on but slackened and it wont slip of or damage the thread

ah so is the switch just for the lights in the boot ? have you installed a switch for footwell lights or are they wired in so dim on and off with the interior light
