    immobiliser faut!!

Use the search function dude, covered a million times. Can be many things from a one off that can go by pulling the battery for a few mins to replacing relays, replacing fobs and all sorts. Mine was relays which was no fun to diagnose, do plenty of reading, good luck.

I went to Donnington and came back with a question about headlights.

So this is a little bit of a show and shine tat question but i cant help myself - I saw this guy as Donny today (excellent car, fast driver) and its given me some great inspiration as to what to do to my clio for 2013. From a purely cosmetic stand point though.. i love his fake headlights. I...

I Was going to post the link to Ackerman angle and feel all clever! I was even going to say that the French probably didnt read this page... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ackermann_steering_geometry I hate to say it but im guessing it really is a problem because the French, just....didnt do...

    A number of niggly issues...

Oliver - Im still unsure what to do. I do miss the MX but its always rose tinted specs when i look back. I may save my pennies and try and get an s2000 as natural progression. Despite being a little torque shy the engines are truly amazing and they handle remarkably. They may be a bit of a step...

    A number of niggly issues...

I'll just ignore point 3 for the time being as everything feels tight so I don't think it's doing any harm. I think the eagles will need swapping in a month or two so I'll see how that pans out. Point one is the most irritating. Logic suggests it could still be the tb as it only happens...

    A number of niggly issues...

Yeah sorry, Totally Standard Standard Dampers/Exhaust etc 60k on the clock. Cambelt done. Started stalling a while back and i cleaned the TB and it cleared up but it just feels very choppy when y ou are driving around town. Feels great when you are driving more in a "spirited" fashion but...

    A number of niggly issues...

Hello all, there are several threads on similar topics to this but I can't seem to find the exact answer. So the issues I'm experiencing: 1. The car is just awful at very slow speeds (heavy traffic etc) Quite alot of hesitation at low rpm, stuttering/jolting. This clears more and more...

Funny story, turns out Clio's can't fly

There is a Properly big jump (more of a drop) on the Longnort road towards leek. I used to take it steady and still get serious air in my mx5. It never used to jump though, it was more of a wheely with all 4 wheels off the ground. Very scary as you lose sight of the ground haha. Stoke is...

    CHESTER meet to the lake????

Im from stoke matey but the Stoke on trent thread seemed to fall through. Just checked with the boss and the 26th is apparently our anniversary! (we aren't married) but it would appear I'm stuck! Typical.

Hey Guys. I have tried to search for this but cant seem to come up with the goods so i apologise if its already on here somewhere. Im getting the codes t - - h when running the basic check through the instrument panel. I have read very briefly in the past that they relate to a...

Hello everyone! I have a couple of general questions.

Of course i will let you know. Mine goes in on the 10th on the speed sensor topic...(it cuts out more frequently and im still waiting mind to turn up) I'm sure the car feels more responsive and more urgent at part throttle when the speedo drops to zero than when it's working? Does that make...

Hello everyone! I have a couple of general questions.

Cheers for that guys. I've got my cambelt booked in at a place in baddeley green. Not the cheapest or most reputable but I know the guy, it's local and he's knocking me some off. Where abouts are you in staffs as I know another guy but he's off for sometime and I can't really wait much longer...

Hello everyone! I have a couple of general questions.

Hello everyone. I'm Oliver from Stoke on Trent and I have recently aquired a 03 plate 172 cup in standard form. It's booked in for a cambelt in September as it's due. I need to give it a quick service also. The front splitter has cracked a little and the steering wheel is worn as per the norm...

    Bad Luck? New Owner...

Eee! I sold my third reliable mx5 last week and picked up my own Clio 172 cup that also requires a cambelt. I'm being quite careful where possible as I can't get it in the garage until the 10th. I'm a little on edge until it gets done...
