Ive noticed that the ABS on my williams wont come on under harsh braking until needed when going in a straight line... but if I turn the wheel when braking hard it comes on nearly every time. Anyone know if this is a characteristic of ABS that it comes on more readily if the wheels arent...

Had a scoot with these 2 yesterday.. all pretty high speed stuff on sweeping motorway slip roads... Results were that the cossie was rapid as you might expect pulling away until his arse dropped on a tight bend and he eased off... The ST220 though didnt proove to be that quick, I went away...

Anyone know the effects of say going from a 185/55/15 to a 195/50/15 tyre? Or in other words fitting the same size tyres from a 172 onto a Williams. Does oversize rubber give any handling benefits, or does it actually c**k the handling up?
