Hey guys, the Mrs's 182 went in for its MOT today and failed on a few issues...
Emissions
Rear strut leaking
Washer pump knackered
Now the rear strut has been changed no drama but the emissions is a weird one! There's a breather/vacuum hose coming off the top of the inlet and runs down...
Love that! Had my Impreza Type R retrimmed by TrimDeluxe in suede and feels great!
I'll be be giving Snappy a shout when I get the 182 wheel done for sure :)
Absolutely nothing wrong with Godspeed grooved discs and Kevlar pads... had some on my old 172 Cup and found them fantastic, great initial bite with plenty of stopping power! Ian rallies a Clio 172 Cup and what he doesn't know about brakes isn't worth knowing. I've just fitted a set to my 182 FF...
My mrs has just bought a 172 and it's tapping a bit, cambelt was done 5k ago, I'm thinking this wasn't done!!
How much would I be looking at to change it? Can it be adjusted?
Thanks in advance!!
Cheers guys :)
Been looking at K-Tec, they've got some good bits for it, hmmm throttle bodies ;)
I've seen that the melting steering wheel is the norm, gonna look at changing it for a newer model one eventually! I'll bang some pics up later, just given it a quick claying, the paint was bogging...
Hey guys, new to the forum, my Mrs has just bought a 2003 Clio Sport 172 in silver
She had a Swift Sport before and fancied something a bit quicker, fair play the 172 is pretty nippy!!
I've already got some plans for it :D
Any recommendations for remapping companies in the South...
