As above please guys. Will the alternator off a 182 fit a 172 Cup with the aircon option fitted, the tensioner etc are the same setup but I'm unsure as to whether the alternators are the same, I haven't got a 182 one to hand to check part numbers on.
Need to know this ASAP so any help would be...
I've had the dreaded leak from the rear main cap seals so I'm about to have it off, reseal it and re-torque it but I can't find a definitive torque figure anywhere for the bolts, does
anyone have this info please?
This applies mainly to the pro engine builders of the F4Rs or Renault techs as I...
How easy is it to remove the pedal box on a 182?
I'm guessing the mater cylinder etc comes with it too? With that in mind is it a job to do when the engines out or remove from the inside?
Any help would be much appreciated please peeps as I'm going to attack this later or tomorrow.
Cheers,
Grant
Car is currently in full strip down mode ready for a cage to be fitted next week and I'm seriously considering getting rid of the standard heater box system and just swapping it out for one of the T7 motorsport heaters you can buy. One reason is space as I'm considering a Saxo/106 PAS conversion...
Basically I want to strip as much weight as possible from my 182 which has got AC and I'm in the process of removing the the whole aircon system (cup alternator etc).
I can obviously just remove the AC components from the standard heater box and put it back together but I'm just wondering how...
Basically I've just bought a set of AST topmounts and was just wondering if I've got everything I need to fit them to my car. I have looked into vaious other threads alot to try and answer this myself but to no real avail
Looking through others I've seen they've been fitted with a top hat that...
As above really, ideally after Yoko A048's but I've come to the point where if they're cheap and still a good tyre then I might give them a go. I've looked on eBay and places like that but the money people want for some is ridiculous for tyres that are below the wear markers and illegal for...
Basically, I just want to know what experience people have had with bucket seat sidemounts, which are the best for adjustment, price, strength etc...
Looking to buy these asap so any help would be great.

I need to replace the upper bushes on the rear suspension struts where they join the strut tops on the body as mine are falling to bits.
I've had a look round and I can't seem to find any aftermarket ones, just wondering if anyone has found an alternative to the standard ones or is it best...
Basically, I've just bought myself a Corbeau Sprint Excel bucket seat for what was quite frankly an absolute bargain and going to pick it up now but was just wondering if anyone knows where you can get replacement covers from as this ones a bit grubby and has got a small hole in it, nothing...
I'm looking to get the car properly setup and laser aligned etc at some point in the nearish future. Ive seen alot of people on here saying nothing but good things about Mark Fish and what he does and his car proves that tbh but was wondering if anyone has had their car setup by him and how much...
I know they're VW fit but same as the clio as far as im aware as you can fit turbines between the different cars, I just wondered what they would fit like on my non cup 182, what with being 6J wide and all and with the offset being ET38 (from what i can tell from trawling through threads on here...
Hi there, basically i want to stiffen up the front suspension and lower the car all round a bit more. As above the coilovers fitted are Gaz GHA i believe as i can adjust the damping aswell as the height of the suspension.
I've never adjusted coilovers before and obviously don't want to bugger...
As above, i've only just bought my 182 and it hasn't got the cup spoiler on so was wondering what the other options look like as i'll be looking to get one in the future hopefully.
Just wondered if anyone has clear pictures of each so i can see the differences?
Cheers,
