VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

no camber needed y0! wheels sit in the arches with just the lip exposed. As for front plate.. I would run like this is police weren't so pernickety about it, but will be putting magnets behind the bumper and sticking a metal plate with a foam cover onto the back of the plate so it can stick...

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

It will not be colour coded until I get bored of it, as for the plate, I will be getting magnets behind the bumper and attaching a metal plate to the registration plate so it can sit where it's supposed to be located.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

Door Strips.. leave holes when removed, so they wont be took off, and i like the "poverty Spec" look the car has, you always see boras fully colour coded, more than you do with black moldings, theres more details to the car than just wheels, US spec front bumper strip with side markers, all...

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

For a bora? And it will be going lower at the front, spacing the front out 10mm, and will try to get the rear lower :)

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

Once I get spacers and possibly camber top mounts it should sort out the positive camber look.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

I'm not "scene" anything but, I spend my money on what what I want, I don't do it to impress anyone one else.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

I don't have the money for air ride, and I also would prefer to stay static

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

It's probably not going to be the best idea for the roads around my area either, but I will run it and see how things go, I have a speedbump into my estate I will need to tackle daily.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

Well I guess I won't have as much clearance as I thought, still that's the price to pay for wanting a car to be so low, they aren't teledials on the bora above, they are 18" Autostrada Monzas, so what has your mate done to get his bora sitting like that?

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

This is aruns bora, running JOM coilovers, 25mm engine spacers and a chassis notch .. So the lows I want are easily achieved :)
  25. AllanHardie

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

the bora in the picture has a 4motion front splitter and .:R side skirts which makes it look alot lower than it is, should have around 3cm subframe clearance.
  26. AllanHardie

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

8.5j front 9.5j rear ET 35 all round With the engine spacers the sump should be safe, it's the subframe that will take a beating more than anything.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

Chassis notch and 25mm engine raisers are planned for the bora, to help with ground clearance, the ET of the 3SDMs are 35 so not too low, once, the car has been lowered again, i will see if spacers are needed.

VW Bora - Winter Gathering - New Wheels!

As I said, the wheels suit it a lot more when the car is sitting better on them, the above picture is the first bora in the UK to have these wheels on, the large tyres and lack of stance doesn't do anything for the car, so it that's the type of boras I'm up against on 3sdms then with the right...
