it clunks - period.

I dont have the 4k rattle (lucky one) but I have some terrible creaking comming from the mid section when the engines and the exhaust are hot (best heard in slow motion or standing still with engine running). Its driving me nuts! Renault says they cant do anything...

Not quite true; if you havent got the switch it does not mean you dont have ESP. You just cant turn it off. To make sure if you have it or not, turn the ignition key to position 2 and check whether the light in your dashboard comes up. If yes: you have ESP and cant turn it off. If not: you...

They will. Even when other people in this forum say they wont. Whether you will notice the difference is another question; this is depending on your "feel" for your car, your driving style etc. But: they will look brilliant.

Nah, theyre not the same. The originals are OEMS manufactured by OZ but will not have the writing on the kerbs; also they are less shiny.

Just use loads of WD40; spray it between the steering wheel an the column. Had the creaking too, now it seems gone.

@Seems again, that tolerances are not very tight at Renaults... Shouldnt be, though. Take yur care back to the dealership; warranty will take care of it anyway. Where in CH do you live? I live in the Zurich area... Sandro

Hi there My 6 weeks old Clio Sport rattles all over! Starting with the "thing" you put the coins in (sorry, I dont find the english word), over to the slot close to the windscreen. Its driving me nuts! I uses half a bottle of WD40 but to no avail... Any clues (besides putting the radio on...)...

On the straights it will be even, not so sure in the curves... Had an S3 (210bhp tuned to 250bhp) before my Clio, so I can compare.

@Simon: An 11 hour job to remove the gearbox and fit a new clutch? What were they? Drunk? Not even with no hands it would that long... Good to hear that they sorted it under warranty, though... Cheers Sandro
