Are the 182 and 172 ballast's the same? As I can't seem to find any 172 ones on eBay but the 182 ones aren't too badly price. I've narrowed it down to my xenon ballast being broken and it's annoying haha.

Not illegal, yellows a registered headlight color as far as i'm aware. I run them. :) I eBay'd yellow tint, I bought enough to do both headlights and fogs for £8/ Took 19 days to turn up though :P

I really wouldnt bother wasting your money on it. I'm guessing you aren't that old and you will probably grow out of it / want something new / faster in a year or so. £350 is the difference between something good and better imo. Least you learnt from your mistake haha. Professional or nothing mate!
