had the RAC come out they diagnostic checked it and it is the throttle sensor! he has cleared the code so the light dont come on now but its still cutting out and not starting! he said the sensor thinks there is to much fuel going into the engine which then shuts the engine down because it will...
thats a good idea, but no unfortunatly i not got any break down cover! maybe it could be the air filter? i done nearly 18000 miles in just over 3 and half years and its never had a new one!
Just been out today! and 10 mins down the road my car died on me! it has done this before! And when i tryed to start it i could not!
i dont know if it is over heating??
i waited about 20 mins then drove off! 5 mins down the road it died again! waited another 40 mins! tryed it again! down...
Anyone know any placese where i can get a 172 cup nearside headlight and wing? also are the headlights the same as any other of the models or are the specialy made fro the cup?

I have just drained out the fluid bottle with a sponge! oil is heavier than water so the water surely would have sat on top?
And now i have drained it there cant be much water in there? if any? alot of it came out the top of the bottle as i put the water in!
I have just done something really stupid! i have put about 1/4 of a litre of water in my power steering fluid bottle! i thought it was the screen wash!
I have a 172 cup and its 2 months old so not much fluid has been used on the steering!
What shall i do?

On a Valver/Will the box is dirctly on the TB so even if you insulate the box the heat will get in though it! And if you insulate the box you are more than likely going to keep heat in the box.
My old Valver used to goan when i turned the wheels. I toped up the power steering fluid and it never made another sound again in the 3 years i owed it!

Im just trying to work out how you can get the top of the box on when you have the induction kit going into the original pipe?
I have had had my cup since 21 november and i have not recieved any of the registration paperwork for it yet! I bought it from a broker.
Does it normaly take a while for the documents to come through?
