Hi
Bit of a daft question here as im wiring a new horn in.
Looking at previous posts it seem easy to do, but the part that im confused with is finding a new switch.
Maplin seem to have loads of them but im assuming that the original how circuit is on a 15amp fuse i would need a switch capable...
Hi all

There car was a bit battered when I bought it and hadn't been looked after so I replaced the following:

Hi All
Does anyone in the north east or Durham area have clip?
I'm trying to find out why I have the airbag lights on in a 1.2 clio, checked the connectedness under the seats to no avail :(
Beer tokens for anyone that can help? :)
The only reason that I included that into post was that maybe whoever owned the car previously hasn't cancelled their insurance policy for it.
I'll contact MID and check it out :)
Hi all
I've had my car since December now all taxed and insured since then also.
At the end of March beginning of April I took it off the road as it needed work done to it so I got in touch with my insurance company and told them that it was off the road in my garage and they cancelled the...
Hi All
Took my bonnet catch off this morning to clean it up and have managed to snap the bolt as show in the image
Is there any suggestions on how to replace it?
Ive drilled the old one out but how would i get a new bolt in as access is limited to do it>
Cheers

I didn't see that he had purchased a new battery sorry.
I had this problem for about a month before I got it sorted and I only came across finding the fault when I jump started the car. Turns out the battery was knackered.
Defiantly do what Adam has said and check all the earths though
Try jump starting it, also check all the engine earths on it. If I remember correctly they are:
Passenger side wheel arch
Front of the gearbox
One from the battery to the bodywork
Solid red light means the key has been reconised but the immobliser isnt disarming.
Try jump leads from another car, if you cant then try a new battery. Clios hate weak batterys.
Will be purchasing these athe weekend;

Spent a few hours in the garage tonight stripping the passenger side down, it is really in a sorry state
So that's the wishbones and arb bushes off along with ball joints, noticed a sizable rip in the steering rack gaitor and the track rod ends and seized solid so removing them will...
I'm looking at getting them off eBay, it's only a 1.2 so looking to keep costs down, looking at the listing the wishbones come with ball joints and bolts so I'm just after the pinch bolts and wishbone bolts
Cheers

Hi all
In the process of replacing the wishbones, ball joints, rack ends and arb bushes on the Clio.
It quite clearly hasn't been looked after as all the bolts are rusted solid and some have snapped trying to get them off :(
Is it possible to buy the following separate from the parts?
4x...
Not sure if you'll be interested but theres a rear bumper & front grill popped up in the sold section

Fully agree with this, flashing EML has always been a faulty injector. mine has a solid one at the moment which is a fauly lambada
99% thats its a injector fault
Not much of a update, i should really get used to taking pictures
Brakes are sorted!, really sharp now, new drivers side caliper, pads and fresh fluid throughout so im pleased with that.
Checked the airbag wiring under the passenger seat, wiggled then disconnected and cleaned...
Hi All
Managed to sort the issues now :), new caliper on and pressure bled the system. The amount of air that came out was unreal, tbh theres probably a small amount of air in the ABS pump but thats another job for another day and the brakes are 100 times better.
Thanks for all your help
