Hi i have just had the aircon plugged in and
turns out its leaking looks like its got a hole
in the condenser.
planning on getting one for weekend and havin
a bash at fitting it.
Pretty confident with a spanner,
recently fitted
powerflex black wishbone bushes
dog bone bushes.
whiteline arb...
Could be a lot of things i had the same symtoms
and changed;
bottom ball joins
top mounts
trackrod ends
Polybushed wishbones
tracking checked
And did feel better but still didnt feel like
it used to,
did notice a bit of play in the tie rods when
fittin track rod ends so there next on...
got codes
dtc1013 main relay permanent low level ??
dtc1026 ignition coil group 1 open circuit ??
any help with fixing these would be appreciated

so i was told on here that you can put cup 172 wishbones on a non cup
so y are cup polybushes sold as different as non cup and cheaper

Have you had a look at the wheel arch nothing rubbing/hanging off.
If everything is ok there could be drive shaft, ball joints not done up propperly
spring not in its seat properly.
But if you dont feel confident identifying problem yourself
and sending it to garage just let them identify the...
When you wind the piston in and put the callipers back
On you need to pump foot pedal till stiff before you pull handbrake
so that it is ajusted right also if you slacken handbrake cable off
before you pump pedal and tighten after if needed..
Yea i get that mate,but the one ive got in now has yellow
and no blue just like grey metal with writing on it.but the 182 one
does have blue and yellow.
I dunno mate maybe someone has had it apart at some time
might have taken blue off or summin.
I think, say you have 205 40.
Take the 205 then the 40 is Worked out of a percentage
or in relation to the 205.
So 195 40 will be less because you work off 195 insted of 205.
like i say im not a 100% on this just sure it was what i was told

Turns out it was the sas, took the one off my standard squib
And put it on the 182 squib with the cruise connection.
Dunno if it was actually broke or not but was deff different
it had a blue sticker in alignment window normal one had
yellow, dont know if that makes a diffence but it all works...

I thought thats how it worked but i was told the 2
Measurements were in relation to each other so 205 40 sidewals
arnt the same hight as 195 40 sidwalls and 205 40s arnt the
same width as 205 45s i could be wrong but im sure i was told

My 17s are hardly any bigger with 205 40s
than standard 16s with 195 45s i think they are
just a bit wider...
Less tyre more rim no probs atall
Yea it does not change if you move the steering wheel
i did deff fit sendor wrong didnt know it had to be centered
but after i read some more took it all off and centered it.
So you think its most likely knackered? Doesnt just need
recalibrating or anythin ..

Just fitted cruise controll all went well pluged it all in
it all works but had serv abs esp lights on
plugged it it and managed to get abs light off for a bit
But came back on after about 10 miles.
Had a closer look and sensor is reading 8000 odd
Is the sensor broke or what...

ive got 17s doesnt look to bad running 205 40s
but cant really lower it much if atall put 205 45s on once rubbed with just me in the car ..
take rear wheels off get someone t pull handbrake and see if leaver on caliper moves.
if it dont bit of greese and loosen it..
if it does loosen handbrake cable right off wind pistons on calipers right in
push brakes a few times till stiff then pull handbrake a few times and adjust if needed...
