Yep, Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tyres. Great tyre, 10 times better than the standard Continentals (which I have never rated in any shape or form). I'd go as far as to say they are the best tyres I've ever had, certainly in the dry. The fact they can be bought for £90 per corner is a bonus. Though...
I had them re-furbed gloss black, I'll have to wait and see if that was a good idea or not. As for the Northern Irish plates I could have mainland UK plates actually prefer the NI ones as they make the car harder to date. But I suppose I'm used to them.
Thanks for the comments guys.
I've been off work for the past few days and with it being dry i decided to give the 200 a once over.
Sorry for the dust in the pics, I took it for a drive after I finished cleaning.
Also as some will have seen in my previous post i've...
Not sure if this is the right section but it didn't really fit else where. I've entered a car cleaning (detailing) competition and could do with your votes.
If you could be so kind enough to click here and add a comment and then click the link they email you to confirm you are human and for...
I'm looking to replace the frankly rubbish standard head unit in the 200 and quite like the look of the SONY CDX-DAB700U (mainly because I can change the colour of the illumination to match the Clios other dash lights). What I need to know is what is required to make the display (only really...
You said that clay didnt touch it. What clay was it, could you try a more agressive clay? Failing that a proper polish should help, im talking the likes of Menzerna or 3M polishes here.
Is that the rear diffuser from the 200 your talking about? If so it's a right pain to fit according to those who have done it as the standard 197 exhaust pipes melt the chrome plastic rings and the surrounding bumper.
You paid the insurance therefore your entitled to claim. End of story. I'm sure there have been people who have written off a brand new Ferrari minutes after collecting it and I bet they claimed!
I'm usually fairly competent working on cars (I've changed suspension, serviced cars, worked on brakes etc in the past) but I don't like electrics. I can do the usual radio and speaker changes (I've wired in cross overs etc in the past) but in all honestly I don't like cutting into looms. I was...
I usually put a light tint sun strip on my cars (haven't got one on the 200 though) and I've never had an issue at MOT with them. The light tint is just enough to stop the glare without blocking any of your view. My last one was light enough I could still see stars through it at night.
I hope somebody on here can help with my query. I'm looking to install a hands free kit into the 200. I really like the look of the Parrot MKi9100 and plan on buy it at the end of the month. What I'm wondering is has anybody fitted on of these and if so will I need anything else (loom adaptors...
1 hour clean, takes me twice that just to wash a car.
Anyway onto the question in hand. Deffo silver, I've yet to see black wheels look good on anything and that includes the speedlines on the 200.
The 'cup' spoiler was an additional extra and not just found on 'cup' cars. I personally think it ruins the lines of the car and suits the 197 better but it's better than nothing. As for the display in the middle of the dash it looks like the standard radio display. Also get the grey bumpers...
I don't know colour codes, however....
The first car is painted 'liquid yellow' it's a pearlecent colour.
The second car is a limited edition Clio 200 Red Bull. In that photo it does appear matt black however the production one were just black (possibly black gold but I'm not 100% on...
Please don't use t-cut. It's not a great polish and is very agressive. Something as light as AutoGlym SRP will lift that, the black looks like transfer too to be honest so it may well come off as well. If you were close to me I'd have offered to have a look for you but northern Ireland is a tad...
The O2 shop close to me offered me £210 credit if I traded in my old iPhone (3Gs) when I bought my HTC sensation. No stupid cash back deals just no bills for 6 months.
Some sort of silver cover would be ideal. Those silver windscreen sun shades from the pound shops would be the perfect material as it's easy to cut and tape back together and they are cheap so if you mess it up its only cost you a quid or so.
