Sticking in the numberplates of my old cars and found this! I'm the guy you bought it off back in the day! You Still got it mate? Glad to see it continued to be looked after.
Had my first proper go at editing a picture today, here is my end product:

Anyone know How i could have a go at reducing the sun reflections on the rear quarter? also a small one above front arch as well.
Grass reflection also makes car look dirty. In...

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before but the solution of 'take it to the dealer' is no longer valid 9 years on.
My drivers side Recaro has started squeaking pretty bad as I am driving. Most bumps in the road are making it squeak and any pressure on the back whilst I am driving gives a...
Mrs decided the Chicken Nuggets couldn't 5 minutes wait so a nice load of crumbs on the recaro's, then to top it off the birds decided to use it as a toilet last night.
Hi Mate - few words of advice from someone once in your position:
This was my car which i spent a fair bit on to get it looking as it did from the standard 1.2 16v:

there is a full sport interior in there as well.
Did I love it? yes
Was I the nuts at school? yes...
No - have seen the guys before always park down my street :) His bro has an infernal 182 track car as well. Would like to meet the guy just always miss him haha.
Recently upgraded my 1.2 replica to a 182. Had to drive the 1.2 for a week last week. When i first got in it I thought it was cutting out on me when I was going up a hill!! the 182 really is something else once you have only ever driven a 1.2.
Hi all, here is a link to my 1.2 172/182 replica which is currently for sale on eBay. Please ask any questions through eBay if interested.

When my Aux belt frayed and pushed over to one side, I needed new tensioner, water pump etc. Mine conked out half way down the road, you are lucky the pistons didn't hit the valves.
Re: Valuation advice - 172 Rep
Hi mate - the wheels aren't standard. the standard wheels are normal 1.2 clio ones
I guess as a replica its doing its job pretty well ;)
Valuation advice - 172 Rep
Hi All,
Looking to upgrade and the time to sell my 1.2 has come. I would really appreciate some help as to what this car is worth.
The original progress thread for the car can be found here...
I know this was ages ago now but do you recall a monster energy sticker on the blue 172? Might be my dads mate, he works in the channel tunnel parks in there every day.
In reply to a few of the comments i'm not trying to make it a car its not, i bought a clio because i like how they look and i stand by that after owning mine and working on it for half a year. I don't pull away from lights like a tool nor do i want people to think its a real 182. I just think...
Not got round to posting this, got my carbon fibre splitter and rear spacers finally so this is the car pretty much complete now :) might look into new wheels but with the MOT just passed requiring 4 new tyres and a few other bits not looking to spend to much more on her for the time being.
Had...
wheels were only cheap so they will do for now - the originals just looked lost especially with the coilovers on haha.
not really any major plans left for it now. With uni approaching i could do with saving some money but i'm sure if something pops up il be on it haha
haha very nice!
Well got my rear spacers and carbon fibre splitter to come.. Different wheels are on the cards too now especially after the comments - i must be the only one who see's nice in them XD
debating carbon fibre taping the centre piece and dash strip inside.. not sure on that though...
car is from cardiff - wish i knew coulda picked one up over there! shame man looks like a beasty 1.2.. i suppose i wouldn't want it though if i could have a sport XD
had the option to fill exhaust holes then just went for 172 one as it popped up - don't have an exhaust visible from the back on mine but i think it looks pretty neat as i have no plans to put a bigger one on it.
