Fixed!!!!!!! Firstly thanks to all of you that offered help and advice, after a little bit of work with a bench grinder and a hacksaw I made something that could fit down the side of the rubber grommet's that were stuck and pull them out. Plugs Changed!

Just using a 14mm Deep dish socket - Didnt know there was a proper one...

Thanks for the offer been up in Llangollen all day today so will have a try tomorrow, Just going to get a piece of wire and try pull it out if it is the rubber bit.

Cant mock farmers they would get it out! Weather it would work ever again is a whole different question!

Yeah hammer or a extra deep 13mm Socket may be the plan!

The 1.2 16v are just a standard 14mm Deep socket... You wouldnt get anything bigger in.

Had the car a year now and was informed it had had a service when I purchased it, so now 12K later I thought best to service it as it wasnt idling right when cold. Both Plugs 1 and 4 appear to of been rounded off and I am unable to remove them... It is going to be a head off job in order to...

Brilliant thanks! Thats one bit sorted... Any ideas on the engine management light? Im thinking that it was on the previous car and just needs resetting?

Replaced the ECU and UCH today and now the Engine warning light is on, Not sure what it could be as the car is running fine... Also the front doors lock when I drive away, think my unit was of a 5 door and it had the child lock on, is there any way to stop this? Thanks,

Guess you must of got the correct one then, or was it just one with the same engine code and Nx (N2 or N3) Number?

Where did you get yours from? You get the same UCH and ECU numbers as your existing car?

Was going to go for euro car parts. Or is it worth getting Gen Renault parts?

The top mount on the drivers side needs replacing, Is it advisable to do both sides at the same time and replace the shocks also?
