Further update - Still not sorted, doesn't appear to be battery, alternator, or crank shaft sensor, no faults showing up on the garages OBD reader, no obvious loose wiring connections... garage suggesting it might be the ECU, which I'm guessing wouldn't be economically viable to get replaced...

Again, thanks very much for all the replies, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely look at the battery/alternator as my first option, my only query with either of them is surely they wouldn't cause it to cut out whilst actually driving? Or would they?

EML light is going out. Something else I've noticed.. if I turn the ignition to position 2 and wait to see if the lights go out (which they don't) then give the key a further turn to try and start it, it won't turnover at all, just a click. But if I turn it from off straight to position 3...

Thanks for the replies, update... It's back to not turning over at all now and the following lights all stay on - STOP IMMOB SERV ESP BATTERY OIL Also put a cheapy generic OBD reader on it and that came back as no fault codes stored. Does that narrow things down or just complicate...

The shitty after market HID dipped beams are more trouble than they're worth on my 04 182 and I want to convert them back to standard. Can anyone point me in the right direction for what connector I need for the standard bulbs once I've removed the HID ballast? Thanks!

After looking at a few more threads on here on the subject of 182 ABS rings there seems to be some confusion... some threads are saying you can't buy just the ABS ring for the 182 and it has to be a whole new driveshaft?? others are saying the rings are available but must be the 44 teeth ones...

I've got a non-cup 182 and I'm looking to have a suspension refresh using Cup shocks and Eibach springs. Do I also need a cup ARB as they're apparently different sizes (25mm v 23mm)??

Does the same apply to 182's? i.e. do cup shocks fit straight onto a non-cup even though the ARB is a different size?

I'm also thinking about getting the steering rack bushes, any feedback flobalob?

Thanks for the measurements Nicorossi, why on earth Renault have fitted different ARB's with a size difference of 1mm is pretty baffling! I think I'll be sacking off the idea of polybushing the ARB's... I wouldn't be able to accurately measure them unless I had a micrometer!

Cheers for the replies, if anyone is interested the ITG cleaning kit is available from DemonTweeksDirect on ebay for only £20.40 delivered... looks very good value size wise compared to the KTR and Pipercross cleaning kits.

Just a quickie, can someone confirm if the ITG Filter cleaning/re-oiling kit is suitable to use on the KTR IK Foam filter? I'm guessing it is ok as they're both foam filters? Also does the KTR foam separate from the inner structure for cleaning? Thanks!
