the testimonials sound ok.. but you never know just how true they are..

Looks like i'm going to Val Thoren early January.. :)
thinking of flying to Geneva and hiring a car from there.. i.e. a large estate to carry 4 people + luggage....
Anyone driven with snow chains..? how good are they on snow, having never used them.. I emailed the car hire Co. and said...
been to a few Gumball parties with him.. seems ok,, he is nicer that his tv persona.. I admit he can be flash, but then i think we all be guilty of that at some point .. :)
I agree, but with any evolution of a new car they invariably get fatter and heavier(most of the time anyway).. + the salesman telling me to take it easy.. LOL. but where my cup feels quite raw, the 197 felt lethargick but then it was quite new, and would needed loosening up.. was also a full fat...
Hi Jon.. (btw at Brands on the 3rd December, if you're about..)
hope so.. needs to be quicker than the one i drove...
think it'll be an Evo next though.. :)
So does the F1 feel any quicker..? as when i drove the 197 i was most dissapointed.. ok, it handles nicely but felt quite sluggish.. My CUP flelt a lot quicker
My brother loved it when he took one down to the Col De Turini for the Top Gear shoot a few months ago.. said it handled well, but...
I'd take it back, and argue the point it's had loads of work done before an the problem wasn't fixed..
Mine (172 cup) went into renault loads as the check engine warning light kept coming on. They said it was because i had a K&N IK.. ??? Muppets.. which i told them was impossible.. turns out...
Couldn't agree more... :) certianly makes a journey more interesting.. mine (172 Cup) has loads of grip with Contis, and i dont drive slowly whatever the weather..
