    The description! Flol!

    Whopper

"My modification skill is very high"

"My first house has four bedrooms"

Who in their right mind believes those two points belong in an advert?

ITB setup would probably cost £1.5k fitted and setup (£2k+ with aftermarket ECU easy). Plus it's low mileage. Without belts if it's in decent condition I'd say £2.5k was a fair price to be honest.

At the end of the day the belt and dephaser is £500 fitted. I'd always factor in getting it done by someone you trust regardless anyway when buying a clio if you're intending on keeping it for a couple years or more.

I didn't think £2500 was that bad! I'd have to put it on proper management but I don't think he's taking the piss with the pricing.

I'd personally rather the mods be built on an engine that had been well serviced surely spending £1500 on an engine that's not had the belts done is just stupid ?

It doesn't mention the belts, so it may of had them done for all we know. I'd be tempted by it if I wanted another car

I've spoke to him he said he'd rather a low mileage car with no service history than a higher mileage car with service history

No worries mate, I had a choice of buying a high millage clio with good service history, or a low milage car with none, I picked the low millage car. The car had been garaged for some time, clearly been looked after so I bought it to do the conversion. It will come with 12 months mot regardless of the work or cost involved. I bought it as a track car but unfortunately it's been sold to fund a workshop. Not much more I could tell you mate, only bought it to fit bodies and race

    His words

What am I missing? It's seems cheap for the mods to me?
Especially when people put up Turbo's for 5k.

Not worth it, as even if they are Jenvey's it hasn't got the decent management to up the price.

can be mapped on standard ecu easy enough, lot easier with phase 1 as it's on cable not fbw.
