Probably the engine mounts, but the noise is a bit much for a 4 month old car. Its always when the clutch engages - or the engine takes the strain. Sounds like a creak, which I cant hear if I blip the throttle. Does the gearbox have its own set of mountings or does it rely on the ones for the engine?
Im wondering if its part of the exhaust system?
Never seems to be as bad when the engines warm, so clearly heat expansion seems to play a part.
Bloody annoying - I know that!
