36k service - Does this sound a reasonable price?

firstly soz if this is in wrong section.

My 2004 1.2 16v clio is due for its 36k service. I went to a small renault dealer who quoted me around £270. Does this sound like a reasonable price?

I also went to a local mechanic who has done all sorts of work on my car in the past and said he could do it for £150 max.

Would you go with the cheaper option or go with an official renault dealer?

Finally what is involved in this service?

many thanks guys.

If the cheaper garage uses renault parts and VAT registered it should be ok. Is it a quality garage?

I'd personally pick neither, m8. I'd rather give my money to one of the many specialists garages who've been mentioned on here that know the Clio's inside and out.

Whereabouts in the country are you?
