ABS noise

Went out last night, and on my way home my road was all icey. So as there wasnt any cars about i had a little fun, wheelspinning and handbraking it, that sort of thing.

Anyway, i hit my brakes and the ABS kicked in, is it suppose to make that really noisey clunking sound as the brakes go on and off. It works fine, but just seems a bit noisey.

ABS/EBD thingy, the pedal often bounces off my foot in icey/snow conditions?

yep abs makes that noise, thats how you now its working, when it happens you should think oops without abs i would have skidded then
