[Apr 2, 2016] Nw area day Welsh drive. (Cheshire)

Following on from here (http://www.cliosport.net/threads/north-west-cs-areas-day-2nd-april.791288/page-2#post-11075233) I thought I'd start a proper event for it.

We'll be meeting at the sandstone pub at 10am for a coffee, a crack on and a few pictures before setting off for the Welsh lap.

The plan is to meet here before shooting off via the horseshoe pass, the evo triangle, lake vermwy, llanberis and the costal tunnels before parting ways.

There'll be plenty of opportunities for photo stops so any budding photographers are encouraged to bring along their cameras :smiley: @Carbonraider is bringing his drone out to play too so fingers crossed for good weather for some artsy fartsy aerial videos.

Planned stops for snacks and a drink are the ponderosa (mmmm greasy sausage rolls), a nice pub at betws-y-coed and a nice little cafe not far from the coast past snowdonia.

An awful amount of creaking, it's a weird one as birchdown said there's no play in it at all so it's suspected ball joint and top mount! Might just dw40 the hell out of it..

I think thirteen of us in total came out in a decent range of cars. The Meg 265 sounded brilliant. Dat boost!


The lads who made it from Wigan in the r26, type r, 350z and (not pictured) the odyssey blue 172 on orange alloys.


And Johns new Mini Cooper, forgot your username sorry, it sounded pretty ace and went very well



This was pretty funny sorry, after we got split up leaving the evo triangle, we arrived at the pub in betws-y-coed in two groups... The second lot got the wrong entrance which was blocked and caused a decent tail back turning round haha



Trying to get @172Oz to upload his pics and @Carbonraider to send some drone footage. It looked pretty epic as he was recording it.

@HarrySmith94 caught us up at the pub too. Sorry I had s**t signal and couldn't get in touch sooner. Hope you enjoyed the final stretch :smiley: and the drive to us lol
