BG swirlssssssss

Das pro is easier to use I think. I need to brave it and borrow a rotary, probably won't though lol

Don't borrow a rotary trust me, I borrowed my brothers and although I made the paint spot on swirl free, I butchered it in terms of "holograms" (Google 'paint holograms' if you haven't seen!) in the sunlight it was terrible.

Been on the Facebook "detailing addicts" page and learnt a lot. Argos do a DA polisher for £50! Cheap as chips and exactly what you want/need without going "pro" and making a business of it. Just go to a local car body paint shop and change the backing plate and get some decent pads as the supplied plate and pads are terrible. All in you'll be looking at around £70 for a DA kit :cool:

I bought a DAS 6 Pro Plus around 18 months ago and have not looked back since. With some good quality pads and compound/polish I don't see the need for a rotary. Awesome bit of kit.

Black Gold is a great colour, but it does seem very easy to marr up. I do a fair few of them.
Here's a recent Megane. You can't beat machine polishing for bringing the flake out :)

I completely agree, does seem to mar up very easily if not treated carefully- I love the BG shine and colour pop after a good machine!
