Camo-Wrapped Clio 172 Cup Track Project!

Ok so thought i would actually do a build thread since all i usually do is stalk on everyone else's lol

Bought my Cup about a year ago and so far the spec list consists of:
-15" Speedline 2118's with 195/50/15 Toys R888r tyres and stud kit.
-Bilstein Coilovers with Ktec solid top mounts and camber bolts.
-Rear anti roll bar
-Stripped with roll cage and buckets etc.
- stainless cat back exhaust
-Ktec induction kit
-Polybushed engine and gearbox mounts (to be fitted)
-Flocked Dash
Think thats it atm to be honest , I'm concentrating more on the setup being perfect and just enjoying it as much as possible!!

We have a few MCR cars main ones other than mine is the Mini Cooper s and the boss's 800bhp evo! Basically we work at MCR specialist cars and we are all enthusiasts plus good promotion for the business

Ok so had a cracking day at Spring Action Day Co Hosted by MCR Specialist Cars and Infinity Exhausts all the cars performed well and the Clio was a little gem all day, Well untill the final session of the day when the power steering decided to s**t itself all over the track! Going to need to look into power steering oil cooler i think? Also i think the new R888r tyres are well worth the investment!

Been a while since an update due to lack off time!
But few changes being made over the winter!
- EPAS conversion due to standard hydraulic constantly failing .
- 182 manifold to be fitted whilst subframe out.
- gone for a set of pro race 1.2 alloys and sold the compomotives as was bored of the look and was also surprised at how much lighter the pro races are!
- also a lot more weight loss is planned too as well as having a tinker with the suspension setup!

Been a longgggg time since I updated this forgot it was even on here 😂 but yeh so what’s changed? Not huge amounts really, Quaiffe diff, cams, 182 mani, BC Coilovers as Bilstein weren’t cutting it for hard track use, prob few other little bits but also removed all the wrap and had paintwork tidied and coated so it’s more OEM.

Ideally interior is next to be finished want to go back to more clubsport than full track setup as it’s horrible on the road and bored of trailering it everywhere 😂 so electric windows back in and looking for cup interior to go back in! And need one more pole position 👊🏻
