Hopefully a nice easy answer

Need to do the cambelt on the 182 and thinking of dropping in a set of uprated cams (possibly 197) at the same time
However in the future I think I want to supercharge it and have heard the stock 182 cams are the best when going boosted.
Anyone able to shed some light? Should I just leave the stock ones in there and wait for the boost or will a set of 197/aftermarket cams work with boost as well?

recently driven a Cup with a set Shrick cams, had 180 odd at the wheels........was absolutely awesome to drive, really jumping forward on throttle etc......wish my car drove like that.

Is that with boost? Or just the cams?

just the cams mate, felt absolutely mental how eager it was.

I wouldn't bother mate. There will be no benefit when going for boost.

I seem to remember it was you that told me this a few months ago Martin? Like you say if it's no benefit then I won't bother

As said no point in cams if you are going to charge it
