Chip or remap.whats the difference



  Titanium 182 w/ cup packs


This may sound a little dumb but whats the difference between them?Witch one should i go for an how much should i be paying?

a chip is an "off the shelf" map (ie it was created on a standard car)

where as a "remap" is tailored to your specific car, so if you have other engine moddifications, these will be mapped into the "system"

where as an "off the shelf" chip wont have the correct fueling setup for say an aftermarket airfilter

If you want it simpler

Chip = good

Remap = better

erm, a super chip remap is about £350 odd

a chip from them is about £250odd

speak to Geoff on here, he works for them
