Clio 172 2003

  Clio 172
Hello

I was driving my Clio on the weekend and went around a corner a little faster in a result I hit the left side front tyre in the curb. The alloys isn't bent just a scuff where I hit it. The traction light is on and the service light. The steering wheel is heading towards the left and when braking it pulls to the left. But there is no knocking or any other noises.
Has anyone else been in this situation and what normally bends or gets damaged. I'm getting the steering column replaced soon anyway just waiting for a garage to be free but before it goes in would like to have a clue on what could be bent or possibly broken as there is no point in getting it done if it's going to cost a lot.
Any advice will be great
Thanks in advance

Bent steering rack end, bent wishbone, unlikely but always a chance the subframe has taken a knock too depending on what speed you were doing on impact

Thanks for the fast reply. What about the service and traction light bin taking it to a wheel alignment garage to see what they think soon.

I'd replace anything that looks damaged before going to an alignment specialist, the warning lights will be on due to something being out of alignment from the impact, its surprising how even a relatively small impact can bend various suspension components

alright cheers mate. I'm going to take it to the alignment garage and see what they think needs replacing. I haven't got time to sort out before going to the garage
