Accepted an offer for a job in Goldthorpe this evening which means, after 3 long years away I'm coming back to live in Yorkshire!!!

I lived in Stanley, Wakefield for 6 years and I'll be moving back there in March. Looking forward to meeting some of you

    Much love,

Give it chance, only posted less than 30 mins ago haha.

Will be good to see you at some meets/CSF if you're going Mr Potato head. Yorkshire group is definitely growing of late!

I live in Goldthorpe. Make sure you've got locking wheel nuts fitted .
We'll have to put you on the Yorkshire tag list, there's some decent car stuff within easy reach, including CSF and FCS.

At Cape Plc, just outside Goldthorpe, I'll be based there but working across their sites in Yorkshire, Aberdeen and London.

Lol, I'll have you know there's a VERY busy welfare office in Goldthorpe and several successful chemical sales people.

I use that joke quite a lot now, thanks for making me look funny @andybond

Moved back this week, what a f**king nightmare moving is with a 3yr old and a 6 week old! It's worth it though, awesome to be back in our house after 2 years away... it's like we've never left!

Will meet some if you at meets, trackdays or on the roads around Yorkshire

Don't know anything about it! I did a search for it but got distracted. I'll have a proper look when I'm not drunk tomorrow and will try to get to it

But you just had the belts done by a pro, or shouldn't be down on power.

I was just talking to Dan about this. It's definitely nothing to do with my timing or anything I know that! It just feels like it has a few flat spots. Only noticeable really now the decats back on but that may be just me. It just seems to struggle sometimes at say 5-10mph and if i'm in 2nd, it doesn't feel like it 'pulls' properly and it vibrates like it's totally the wrong gear.
Might me a map sensor or something on it's way? I'm really not sure. I have nothing to compare it to, so it could be just how they are haha. It could need to adjust to the decat again really!

I find mine a bit like that, I know they aren't great at low revs but just seems to take a bit to get going, it's fine when further up the revs though. The joys of owning a 12 year old French tin can.

That's actually not too bad. Seen the prices at RS Tuning on that post in the 'Group Buy' section? £245+VAT on a 1*2 before the discount :anguished:

I'll probably take it to efi then, i presume there's dyno runs included in that?
Car seems to be pulling perfectly fine now actually. Must've just been me. Nice to get that rev limit raised though and smoother across the entire rev range especially with my decat.

Yeah it's on the dyno, mine was on for 4hours until he was happy with everything, I went before hand to get a printout of before and after power, 3 runs for £30 he charged
