I have a clio 172 ph1
My cam belt broke around 3 months ago so i got a 182 engine 2005 with 25k installed as a replacement because it would have cost loads to repair the existing engine
ever since i have had it installed the car is quicker but doesnt tick over correctly. Every time i stop it runs at about 1.5k rpm and when i touch the accelerator a tad it goes back to the correct 0.5rpm - Any ideas on why this is -
Do i need a re-map?
