FAO of people who do not use SRP/ EGP

You really should! The results are awesome!

Start with one dirty car with a shed load of scratches:

Wash it with two bucket method, NXT car wash and a water magnet to dry. Then a quick clay to remove the last of the grime.

Turn it into TRON car:

Attack it with a PC & Sonus SFX-1

I've used this method for about a year.

Results are great, no question, does take some time though.

But I have just started to used Duragloss (Spray on wet car, dry as normal). Combined with p21s = excellent results, I'd say on par with SRP/EGP and at half the time. Can't comment on durablility yet...

Whats EGP then? I use SRP and then P21's, but does EGP help protect the paint more or something? :)

Yes it's a paint sealant, as polish restores/cleans the paint, and waxes are mainly just for looks (P21s for example).

It helps create a thin barrier between the paint surface and the environment so in theory protects the paint itself (from UV rays, road salts etc) and makes it easier to wash in the future.

I personally don't use it any more on my own car but it does work really well.
