Well after much consideration I decided you only live once and went and bought this saxo turbo.

It's low, real low, has morettes and 6x9s as well as several stickers but I like it.

The aim is to return it to near standard looks wise with just the addition of a bit of boost,

Some pics;

Plans sound pukka.
Even with the dodgy stickers off it... It will be miles better to start with

Looks in good condition that matey,
If the back axle has been lowered in the last few years it shouldn't be easy enough to put back to standard,
I still think you should fit the turbo set up in the rallye for scary fast fun.

I love that...well I'll love it more without the stickers, but I'd love one to play with. Get some engine bay pics up mate

I'm assuming it's a VTR, with a VTS engine then? Looks really tacky and not something I'd drive, but I'm sure when it's looking a bit more 'oem' it will be miles better. Wicked red with anthracite VTS wheels is a nice mix.

Actually looks pretty good, I expected it to be abit of a dog from that other thread.

Will look much better once you had your way. I've got a few OEM VTS bits knocking about if your struggling for parts.

I do but it's my only vice.

Well, that and pies.
I'm glad you've noticed too :tonguewink:

Not that I'm complaining, I just can't keep up with what you've got/sold! Looking forward to seeing you save this one though. It's shockingly chavvy as it is.

Bought some vts wheels that I'm collecting on Boxing Day.

Should look better on those and not look quite as slammed! Plus, the rear might raise up when I take out the sub, amp and 6x9 shelf.

What will the neighbours think...

Anyway, yes VTS wheels will look good, and yes the rear strippage should raise the back a bit which is needed IMO.

Glad it's the 16v. Thought it was going to be a boosted 8v when I saw the VTR badge!

I still think a OEM looking VTR/S look's really good and modern still. With everything back to Silver, Wheel's, Badges etc, etc.. bet it's mega fun though :D

Few 8vs running about running 200bhp! Not to be sniffed at.

Awesome little car. Raise it a little, get them headlights out and get stickers off and it's good to go. You'll be terrorising a few bigger cars in that.

It's not too bad, brakes, oil and plugs, new wipers, sort out temp gauge, drop links, new wheels and check for any other potential suspension problems. Usual s**t.

Not silver but literally brand new with almost new tyres - £115!

I love this car mate, a real chav sleeper!

Looks loads better on those rims already, take the stickers off and get the original lights on blud.
