Half cage fitting

  Mondial Blue 172 Cup
Looking at getting a half cage for my 172 at some point. Mostly so my harnesses are mounted correctly. But most of the ones going look like I will struggle to fit as my seat is really far back.
Looking at these am I going to struggle to get a cage in here?

I think you will have some trouble because the majority of cages will follow the B-pillar and it looks like your seats are nearly at the back edge of it. You could possibly get away with it if you moved your seat forward an inch or two, although you'd be slightly less comfy, but really I don't think you'd know until you held up a cage to the car.

Another alternative would be to possibly go to a company and get one custom made.

Also, with you being so tall and so far back, I'd be worried about how close your head would be to the main hoop of the cage if your seat isnt on the floor 😂

Annoyingly the KTEC one looks like it would fit but...
No way in hell am I giving KTEC £850 for an half cage lol.
Yeah I really need to get the seat properly fixed into place and mounted lower. I can't go any further down on the side mounts due to the front of the seat catching the mount haha. A Clio definitely isn't the right track car for a tall person haha. Custom is probably the best bet. That won't be cheap either though haha.

Im 6"4 and my dad is similar, we manage ok, x-low subframes and the seats are more-or-less central, plenty of room behind.
